Why Not Teachers? An Outlook Of Why Teachers Should also Write Exams

In the current education system, the pressure to perform well has become immense for both teachers and students. While students are expected to give exams to showcase their understanding, teachers are not often subjected to a similar process. One of the solutions to this issue is to make teachers take a professional exam, just like students. Teaching is a highly respected profession, and teachers are responsible for shaping young minds. They play a vital role in society by empowering generations with knowledge and trying to instill critical thinking abilities in them. The profession demands a high level of expertise and dedication, and it becomes imperative to ensure that teachers are up to the mark to provide the best learning experience to their students.

With the idea of professional examinations, the primary objective is to assess the abilities of teachers and ensure that they are well-versed with the subjects they teach. This would include assessing their understanding of the subject, teaching methodologies, communication skills, and classroom management abilities. A professional exam would, therefore, help to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the teachers and provide them with constructive feedback to improve their skills.

One of the benefits of the professional exam for teachers is that it would ensure that students are receiving quality education. A teacher who lacks the necessary knowledge and skills required for the subject will not be able to provide a proper understanding to the students. It would create gaps in their knowledge and hamper their overall development. Another advantage of the professional exam is that it would create a sense of accountability in the teachers. When teachers know that they will be evaluated and graded, just like their students, they would be more invested and dedicated to their work. They would take the necessary steps to improve their teaching methodologies, and this would ultimately benefit the students.

However, there are also some concerns regarding the implementation of professional exams for teachers. Some might argue that it would place an additional burden on the teachers, and they might not have sufficient time to prepare for it along with their other duties. Moreover, some teachers might not be comfortable with the idea of performance evaluations, and this could lead to resistance.

Furthermore, it would be interesting to hear that teachers also write exams to prove their skills and abilities on par with the students. As a teacher would strike this statement down by stating that they've completed a Degree in Education and teaching and they have also faced such examinations... I have a reply for you: "Why can't the students too finish just an Exam to prove themselves and pass the exams?" The educational degree would only assess the teacher and train him/her in such a way that they can handle students.

Simply put, I'd only say that KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT. No matter how many degrees or exams or whatever you have, all which can be showcased by a person is his skills and not the papers. But the world is a place where everything just happens on paper. That's another topic for discussion by the way (ha-ha).

Are We Too Dependent on Technology?

Technology plays a major role in our lives, and most of us may find it hard to remember a time when phones, computers, tablets, and other devices weren’t a part of everyday life. While technology certainly makes life easier and more convenient, many wonder whether or not our society is too dependent on technology. What does it mean to be dependent on technology? According to a study by Penn State, 77% said that society as a whole relied too much on technology to succeed. Technology dependency is when we rely on technology for everything, from communication to entertainment, and feel anxious or lost without it. There is even a term to describe this: “nomophobia” (no-mobile-phone-phobia) which is when a person has an actual fear of losing or being away from their phone. Why are we so dependent on technology? There are many reasons why we have become so attached to our devices. Technology provides us with instant gratification, constant stimulation, and endless information. Technology als
